3726954 - Forecast in Line Chart stopped working - Loading forever in SAP Analytics Cloud

Symptom

  • Line charts using the “forecast” option with Date filter fail to load.
  • Affected charts stop loading or do not render when opened.
  • The issue began immediately after a recent upgrade.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 1.0 (SAC)
  • SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise version 2026 QRC1

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the SAC system.
  2. Open the test story containing one Line chart with Date dimension on X-Axis.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Click on the chart, then click on the (…) menu, select More Options, choose Add, and then select Forecast → Automatic.
  5. Observe that the story keeps loading indefinitely.
