3727046 - Error Message "Item Group ID Does Not Exist" During Bill of Materials Migration

While migrating Bills of Material, system throws below error message during validation.

"Item Group ID X does not exist" (X represents Item Group Id)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Overview sub view.
3. Select Activities.
4. Search for the activity Migration of Bills of Material.
5. Select Migrate bills of material using migration tool.
6. Upload file and select Execute migration.
7. Choose Execute Migration step by step. 
8. Observe the error message "Item Group ID does not exist".

• System throws an error because the ECO ID used in the source XML file does not exist in the system.
• New ECO ID should not be used during migration.

To avoid the error follow the below options,

Option 1: Use an existing ECO ID that is already available in the system.
Option 2: Create a new ECO ID, release it, and ensure it reaches Complete status.
