3727071 - Reset the SuccessFactors system to the initial state

Is it possible to reset the system to the initial state?

No option available to revert the system back to it's original initial state. Once changes have been made, the platform does not offer a functionality to restore everything to the very first default configuration.

However, there are a couple of alternatives that can help you move forward depending on what you need to achieve.

1. You can either perform a refresh from another existing instance, which allows you to bring over the data and configuration from that environment.
2. You can choose a blank refresh, which resets the environment without carrying over previous content. Do note that a refresh with a blank source will wipe all data and configuration from the Target instance.
