3727380 - How to deactivate HTTP port 8000 for SAP HANA XS Engine.

Symptom

  • HTTP port 8000 for the XS Engine remains active despite attempts to disable it by modifying the parameter in the configuration file located at /usr/sap/xxx/SYS/global/hdb/custom/config/xsengine.ini.
  • The parameter [httpserver] enable = false was set, but the port did not deactivate.
  • The issue persists even after setting the parameter httpport = 0 in xsengine.ini and performing a complete database restart.
