3727647 - Restricting scheduling functions in the 'Manage Automatic Payments' app

In the app 'Manage Automatic Payments', certain users should not be able to access or use any one of the following functions:

• Schedule Parameters
• Schedule Proposal
• Schedule Payment

The 'Manage Automatic Payments' app authorization is controlled via business catalog SAP_FIN_BC_APAR_PAY_PC.

1. Open the app 'Maintain Business Users' and identify the Business Role assigned to the user.
2. Navigate to the app 'Maintain Business Roles' and open the relevant role (for example, Accounts Payable Accountant).
3. Go to Assigned Restriction Types --> General
   

   Maintain the following restriction values:

   Field	Value Example
   Account Type	D, K
   Company Code	1010

   
   
   
   These restrictions ensure that the user is authorized to process transactions only for Company Code 1010 and the specified Account Types. 

4. Under Company Code/Payment restrictions, maintain the following values as per business requirement:

   Company Code	1010
   Automatic Payment Type	1, 2

   
   With this configuration, the user is allowed to schedule Parameters and Proposals only, while access to Schedule Payment can be restricted depending on the maintained values.
