Symptom

Web UI experiences various issues with the latest version of Chrome and Edge Browsers

  • When selecting a value in pop-up window, the Please Wait wheel keeps spinning and ends with a 500 error.
  • Browser window freezing issues occur
  • Other performance and pop up issues can occur with after Chrome or Edge browser version gets updated.
  • In the browser (Edge or Chrome) developer tools, you can see error message "Permissions policy violation: unload is not allowed in this document"
  • The issues can occur in S/4HANA, CRM, or Solution Manager CRM Web UI
