Symptom

  • When attempting to delete a dimension from BPC web, the deletion fails and the following error message appears :

Failed to delete SAP NetWeaver BI InfoObject for dimension 

  • In SLG1:

Deletion of Objects with Type InfoObject
Using InfoObject <InfoObject_Name>:
Still used in InfoCube <InfoCube_Name> (Default)
Still used in MultiProvider <MultiProvider_Name> (Default)
InfoObject <InfoObject_Name> cannot be deleted because of references
