3727937 - Intercompany allocation does not find valid senders when source postings are on profitability segment (ACCASTY = EO)

Symptom

When maintaining or executing an Intercompany Allocation cycle, the system may show errors such as:

  • GA717

  • No senders were found

  • The segment contains no receivers

  • The intercompany allocation cycle produced result lines which all allocate within a single company code. This is not the intended use of intercompany allocations

This can happen even though actual postings exist for the sender selection.
