3727946 - KD503 or KD553 during KO88 settlement when posted secondary cost elements are not assigned in the allocation structure

Symptom

When executing transaction KO88 to settle a CO order, the system issues error KD503 or KD553, for example:

  • KD503: Cost element cannot be assigned to a settlement cost assignment in the allocation structure

  • KD553: Settlement not possible due to secondary cost element

The settlement cannot be completed because costs were posted under secondary cost elements that are not correctly covered by the allocation structure used by the order settlement profile.
