3727962 - Journal Entry Details in My Inbox Rely on Deprecated IAM App "F2547_03_TRAN" - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2602

Symptom

  • Journal entry details information for "Verify General Journal Entries - New Version (F2547A)" is not displayed in "My Inbox (F0862)".
  • The issue does not occur when enable the deprecated IAM app "F2547_03_TRAN".

Environment

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2602

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Assign a business role containing the business catalog "Verify General Journal Entries - New Version (F2547A)".
  2. Disable the deprecated IAM app "F2547_03_TRAN" within the relevant role.
  3. Attempt to view journal entry information in "My Inbox (F0862)".
  4. Observe that the journal entry details is not displayed.
  5. Enable the deprecated IAM app "F2547_03_TRAN".
  6. Verify that journal entry details is now displayed in "My Inbox (F0862)".

Cause

The journal entry details are still being read from the app Verify General Journal Entries_ old version, therefore, it remains necessary to enable the deprecated IAM app "F2547_03_TRAN". The migration process between the old and new apps has not yet been fully completed.

Resolution

SAP guarantees that before the deprecated IAM APP F2547_03_TRAN is permanently removed from the system, the new IAM app F2547A_03_TRAN will have all the necessary permissions. Additionally, from the My Inbox (F0862) app, it's possible to see all journal entry information including details.
