3728955 - KI235 "Account requires an account assignment relevant to cost accounting" during outgoing invoice creation for cost element category 11 account

Symptom

When creating an outgoing invoice in the Fiori app Create Outgoing Invoices or in transaction FB70, the system issues error KI235:

"Account requires an account assignment relevant to cost accounting."

This occurs for a cost element category 11 account even though a profit center is entered in the line item.

If the user opens the PSG (profitability segment) assignment screen and then returns to the document, the posting can proceed successfully.
