1. Will the Datasphere Tenant URLs be affected by this?
   No, the SAP Datasphere tenant URLs remain unchanged.
2. Will the IP Address changes have any implications on OpenSQL Access or DPAgent communication?
   No. There is no impact on Open SQL access or DP Agent communication.
3. Will external partners be using Datasphere APIs via Oauth Clients?
   No. External partners consuming SAP Datasphere APIs via OAuth clients are not affected.
4. When was Multi-AZ enabled on workload clusters?
   Multi-AZ enablement on workload clusters is scheduled to be rolled out during maintenance windows between Jul 24 and Jul 26 2026, with execution times varying by region. By Jul 26, all targeted regions are expected to have the change in place.
5. About notifications:
   • Did our organization receive any prior notification?
     This notification was sent to each Datasphere customer via SPC communication Dec 2025 in the form of an Event. You can find this Event message in SAP for Me -> System & Provisioning -> Availability -> Events, and search for Cloud Service -> Datasphere.
     For example, the Even might be displayed as follows:
       
   • Why might an S-user be unable to see an event?
     
     This usually indicates that your S-user does not have the required authorization to view the event. Please reach out to your S-user administrator for assistance.
6. About receiving email：
   • Why haven't I received the email?
     Because you don't have an active subscription for this notification service.
   • Who will receive the email? 
     Email notifications are sent only to users who have subscribed to the service.
   • How can I receive the email? 
     You can create a new subscription to receive email. Please refer to document New Cloud Outage Notification Subscription User Ex... - SAP Community for more information.
   • If I subscribe now, can I receive previous email notifications?
     No. Email notifications sent before your subscription cannot be delivered retroactively. However, you can view historical event information in SAP for Me → System & Provisioning → Availability → Events, and search for Cloud Service → Datasphere.
   • Can I find out who has subscribed to receive email notifications?
     Email notifications are sent to users who have created a subscription. Since subscriptions are managed individually by each S-user, SAP cannot trace who has subscribed within a customer organization.
     If you are unsure whether a S-user has subscribed, please ask the owner of S-user to check their subscription settings directly in SAP for Me.
7. Will such changes occur again in the future?
   This is one-time action for multi-az enablement. For any future information of updates, please pay attention to the Event notifications in SAP for Me and subscribe to the relevant services to ensure you receive the emails.
8. If Datasphere and ADLS are deployed in the same region, is it necessary to add new VNets after enabling multi-AZ?
   Yes. After enabling multi-AZ, two additional VNets for Azure clusters was created. So please contact your Azure administrator to add them.
