3729549 - Verification of email validity during candidate sign-up on external career site - Recruiting Management

No verification is performed to ensure the validity of the email address entered by candidates during sign-up on the external career site other than format check where email address entered follows format x@x.x.

Note: - X here represents character or set of characters

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management 

1. Navigate to the external career site.
2. Enter an invalid email address in the format x@x.x
3. Provide other required details for account creation.
4. Observe that the candidate profile is created without verification of the email address entered.

Currently, there is no validation check to determine if an email address is valid. The system only verifies that the email follows the format x@x.x, where "x" represents any character or set of characters.

This is an expected system behavior currently.
