Symptom
This document explains which API calls are included in and excluded from rate limiting in SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2.
Environment
SAP Sales & Service Cloud Version 2
Resolution
Non-Standard API calls are all Rate Limited and are listed below
- REST API calls sent from third party systems or SAP system
- Incoming Calls from SAP S4HANA / SAP S4HANA Cloud / SAP ERP / SAP MDI
- Any calls to external systems using Mashups which is considered as non-standard UI
- Mashups configured in Mobile app
Standard UI calls are not Rate Limited and few more exclusions are listed below
- Standard UI traffic
- Calls from/to MS Teams application as part of standard Teams Integration
- Calls from/to IOS and Andriod mobile apps
- Calls from/to groupware application
- Calls originated from Incoming or Outgoing emails
- V1 to V2 migration calls through Data Transition tools
- NGAP Replication(V1 add-ons)
- Embedded SAC
- Standard Events outbound and custom events from autoflow are excluded
