3730048 - ServiceNow External ID Cleared and New Record Created After Quality Seal Change

Symptom

  • When a Fact Sheet's Quality Seal moves from APPROVED to BROKEN_QUALITY_SEAL (or another out-of-scope status), the connector clears the existing ServiceNow External ID.
  • After returning the Quality Seal to APPROVED, the connector creates a new ServiceNow External ID that points to a different ServiceNow sys_id than the original.
  • The Fact Sheet link points to the duplicate record in ServiceNow.
  • No error messages are displayed.
