Error "The custom link is already being used" when adding a custom link to a story in SAC

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.2.10

1. Log in to the SAC tenant
2. Open the target story folder and select the story
3. choose Share.
4. Add the desired custom link
5. Save the changes.
6. Delete the story
7. select another story
8. choose Share.
9. Add the same custom link

Notice : Error "The custom link is already in use."

The deleted story remains in the "Deleted Files" section, preventing the reuse of the custom link. 

1. Analytics Cloud (SAC).  
2. Locate the deleted story that contains the custom link.  
3. Permanently delete the story from the "Deleted Files" section.
