3730594 - Error while retrieving clearing accounts for account in intercompany allocation cycle

When checking or executing an intercompany allocation cycle, the system issues the error:

“Error while retrieving clearing accounts for account <account>”

This can occur although G/L accounts have already been maintained in OBYA for intercompany clearing.

In this situation:

• The system looks for a G/L account with a cost element category.

• The clearing accounts maintained in OBYA are balance sheet accounts and therefore are not available for selection in the allocation cycle.

• The Overhead Allocation Account field is mandatory in the cycle.
