3730654 - BP603 “WBS element budget exceeded” when accepting a Service Entry Sheet in ML81N

Symptom

When accepting and saving a Service Entry Sheet in transaction ML81N, the system issues message BP603 indicating that the assigned WBS element budget is exceeded.

This can occur although the customer expects sufficient budget to be available at project level.
