Symptom
- A custom work center view was created and added to a standard work center in the UI Designer, but it is not visible in runtime.
- The view does not appear in Administrator > Business Roles > Work Center and View assignment for role assignment.
- The issue persists even after waiting 24 hours for replication.
- No error message is displayed.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Open Administrator > Business Roles.
- Search for and edit the relevant role.
- Navigate to the Work Center and View Assignment tab.
- Observe that the newly created custom work center view is not available for assignment and is not visible in runtime.
Cause
The work center view property SetAccessContext (AccessContextCode) may be blank, preventing the view from being exposed for role assignment and runtime visibility.
Resolution
- Open the custom work center view in the UI Designer.
- In the view’s Properties, set SetAccessContext (AccessContextCode) to “None”.
- Save and activate the view.
- Refresh the UI and navigate to Administrator > Business Roles.
- Assign the work center view under Work Center and View Assignment.
- Verify that the view is now visible in runtime.
