Symptom

Environment
- Story report
- Query Designer -> Filters
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to the Home page.
- Go to Onboarding.
- Search for the user.
- Open the user's profile.
- Select Actions.
- Open New Hire Data.
- Navigate to Job Information and review the fields.
- You can see that Job Information data is available in Onboarding.
- Create a new Story report with joins from Process → Job Information.
- Select fields from Job Information and preview the query.
- No data appears for the selected Job Information fields.
- This happens even though Job Information data is maintained in Onboarding.
Cause
The Job Information data source in the story had a time filter set to "Today", excluding future-dated records for new hires.
Resolution
- Open the story report in Report Center.
- Edit the story and open the data source/model used for Job Information.
- Review the time filter currently applied to Job Information (set to "Today").
- Change the time filter to include an appropriate date range that covers future-dated records (for example, “All time” or a custom range), or remove the time filter entirely.
- Save the story.
- Refresh the report and verify that Job Information fields populate for onboarding users.
