3730711 - Error KS151 when changing cost center master data due to existing tax jurisdiction in other validity intervals

Symptom

When changing a cost center in KS02 or mass-maintaining it in KS12N, the system raises error KS151:

“Tax jurisdiction &1 is not intended for country/region &2”

This can occur when trying to remove or change address-related fields such as location.

In the same scenario, the customer may assume that BAPI_COSTCENTER_CREATEMULTIPLE behaves differently because the error is not seen unless the relevant address and tax jurisdiction data are also passed there.
