3730737 - CJB2 closes an existing settlement rule without creating a new rule when manually maintained FUL rules differ from automatically generated PER rules

Symptom

When transaction CJB2 is executed for a WBS element, an existing open settlement rule is restricted by filling the To period/To year fields, which closes the rule.

In this situation, no new settlement rule is created afterwards, although SAP Notes related to settlement rule recreation have already been implemented.
