3730740 - Onboarding Dashboard does not reflect First/Last Name updated during Review New Hire Data

When a user updates first or last name of the candidate during Review New Hire Data, the Updated Name does not reflect on the Onboarding Dashboard.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Start an onboarding process for a candidate.
2. During Review New Hire Data, update the candidate’s first name or last name.
3. Open the Onboarding Dashboard and observe that the displayed name remains unchanged.

• The Onboarding Dashboard displays the candidate name based on the Preferred Name/Display Name mapping configured in HRIS Sync Mapping.
• First Name/Last Name was updated in Review New Hire Data.
• Preferred Name was not updated.
• Hence, the dashboard continued showing the old name.

1. Navigate to Manage Business Configuration
2. Go to HRIS Sync Mapping and check whether Preferred Name or Display Name is mapped to First Name.
3. Alternatively, in Manage Business Configuration, navigate to Personal Info and check the Preferred Name field. Click on Details and verify that it is enabled and mapped to First Name.
4. Next, in the Review New Hire Data step of the onboarding process, update the Preferred Name to reflect the intended name (aligned with the first/last name change).
   Save and complete the step to apply the changes. 
5. Verify on the Onboarding Dashboard that the candidate’s name now displays the updated value.
