3730849 - Employee not visible in the UDF before start date

• Alumni users are unable to view compensation-related information in their profile.
• Customer reports:
  • A custom MDF object "Pay Slip" is visible in Alumni Role permissions.
  • Permissions for this MDF object can be assigned successfully.
  • However, alumni users cannot see the Pay Slip data in UI.

1. Go to Admin Center → Manage Permission Roles.
2. Select or create an Alumni Role.
3. Assign permissions to MDF object "Pay Slip".
4. Grant necessary read/view permissions.
5. Login as an Alumni user.
6. Navigate to the user profile.

Result:

• Pay Slip / Compensation-related data is not visible.

• Alumni users are treated as external users in the system.
• Even though:
  • MDF permissions (like Pay Slip) can be configured at RBP level,
• There are additional backend restrictions, including:
  • UI layer validations
  • API-level access controls
• Currently supported Alumni access is limited to:
  • Personal Information
  • ECP Payroll Payslips
  • Tax Forms
• Compensation module integration is not supported for Alumni users.
• The visibility of MDF objects in permissions does not guarantee UI access.

• This is expected system behavior.
• Even if permissions are granted:
  • Alumni users will not be able to view compensation-related data.
• Only the following are supported for Alumni:
  • Personal Data
  • ECP Payroll Payslips
  • Tax Documents
• Compensation access for Alumni is not currently supported.
• This functionality is planned for future enhancement (on roadmap).
