3731032 - RFQ item and header texts not copied from Purchase Requisition and missing in xml output in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Texts maintained in the product data (for example, basic texts used as item texts) and texts manually entered at item level in a purchase requisition are not transferred to or displayed as item texts in the RFQ.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a purchase requisition and maintain item texts.
2. Create an RFQ from the purchase requisition.
3. Check the RFQ: the item texts from the purchase requisition are not transferred/displayed in RFQ item texts.
4. Trigger the RFQ XML output and verify the XML: RFQ header/item texts are not included.

Current standard system limitation

1. Acknowledge the current product limitation: there is no supported BAdI, API, Output Parameter Determination, or form adaptation in the public cloud to include RFQ header/item texts in the XML output.
2. Use the available workaround: maintain or adjust the RFQ item short text in the Manage RFQs app so it appears as the item Description and can be sent to the supplier.
3. If PR item texts are copied into the RFQ, note that these texts are not supported for printout/XML by design.
