Symptom
SAP SuccessFactors built Manage Data Retention Policies to help administrators centrally manage data governance and lifecycle policies, ensuring compliance, transparency, and efficient management of personal and sensitive information.
In the 1H 2026 release, administrators can define and manage data retention policies for two types of target data:
- Global Information fields; and
- Personal Information fields.
The system uses these retention policies in the DRTM Global Information Fields Purge and DRTM Personal Information Fields Purge processes. Each purge type uses the policy configured for its corresponding target data in Manage Data Retention Policies.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
