3731145 - Field Visibility is not Consistent in Payment Information Portlet after Enabling Latest People Profile

• A field in Payment Information Detail is not visible in the Payment Information portlet under 'View All' section in Latest People Profile (Full Profile), but it is visible in the history view.
• In the legacy version, the field appears in the portlet as expected: it is visible both in the portlet and in history view. 

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Log in as a user who has permission for Payment Information > Object-Level Permission in one role, and has Field level permission (No Access) for the field in Payment Information Details section in another role.
2. Navigate to the user’s profile and open the Payment Information portlet in Latest People Profile (Full Profile).
3. Observe that the field is not shown via 'View All' in the portlet.
4. Open the history view for Payment Information and observe that the field is visible.

• In Latest People Profile (PPX), Payment Information Detail evaluates permissions by respecting the role of the parent (“Payment Information”). This is a behavior change from the legacy profile (PP3), where the parent role was not enforced in the same way; history still uses PP3, hence the discrepancy.
• If the parent (Payment Information) and the child (Payment Information Detail) have mismatched target populations or conflicting field-level permissions across roles, PPX resolves access to No Access for the portlet view.

Align target populations and field-level permissions so the same role(s) grant consistent access to both parent and child object. Parent (Payment Information) and child (Payment Information Details) should have the same target population.
