3731406 - Hierarchy not displayed in SAC filter panel and hierarchy disappears from New Table Experience (edit mode) after filtering — live BW structure (SAP Analytics Cloud)

• Hierarchy is missing from filter panel for a dimension.
• The affected dimension is a BW structure that has an active hierarchy in a live BW data source.
• The issue occurs only in the new table experience.
• The issue occurs only in edit mode.
• After applying the filter, the hierarchy on the table’s rows is no longer shown (child nodes are not nested).
• The same issue happens for story filter, page filter and widget filter

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2026.2.10

1. Open a story in edit mode that contains a table widget bound to a live BW model.
2. Ensure a dimension is a BW structure that displays a hierarchy correctly in the table.
3. In the Builder panel, open the filter for the dimension (the BW structure).
4. Observe that the child members are not displayed as a hierarchy in the filter dialog.
5. Select all members and confirm to apply the filter.
6. Observe that the table no longer shows the hierarchy on rows (members appear flat).
7. The same issue happens for story filter and page filter too.

The issue is currently under investigation by the development.
