Symptom
- Some of the Custom display option is not appearing in the latest applicant workbench, while it is visible in the legacy workbench.
- The issue occurs in the redesigned applicant management tool.
- The Fields have already been added in the under Display Options column in XML
Environment
-
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to the latest applicant workbench in Recruiting.
- Attempt to locate the Manager Review display option/column.
- Observe that the Manager Review option is not visible in the latest workbench, while it is present in the legacy workbench.
Cause
In the Legacy Applicant Workbench, these are configured within the template. However, in the New Applicant Workbench, display options are configured in Manage Data. Additionally, it is possible to add fields as display options in the New Applicant Workbench.
Resolution
Pre-requisites
-
In order for fields to be available to configure, the fields IDs have been defined in your application templates or the candidate profile template.
-
Recruiting User Personalization Object Configuration and Recruiting User Personalization Field Configuration role-based permissions are enabled, as described in Enabling Role-Based Permissions for Applicant Management.
-
The set of fields for columns and filters in the Recruiting User Personalization Object Configuration MDF object have been viewed and edited, as described in Viewing and Editing Standard and System Fields.
Procedure
- Go to Admin Center > Manage Data, then in the first search field, search for and select Recruiting User Personalization Object Configuration.
- Go to the next search field and select the available object.
The Recruiting User Personalization Object Configuration page appears.
- In the top-right corner, select Take Action > Make Correction to open the Recruiting User Personalization Object Configuration page in edit mode and perform the following configurations in the fields section:
- Field ID: Enter the field IDs you want to add to the display and filter options.
Recommendation: To ensure the best user experience, avoid adding more than 30 fields.
- Displayable: Set the options by selecting Yes for every field you want to appear in a column.
Column order is controlled by Recruiting users in Manage Columns from the Settings icon in the redesigned Applicant Management tool. The Name column, however, frozen by default and can't be unselected.
- Filterable: Set the options by selecting Yes for every field you want to appear in a column.
- Actions: Fields can be moved up or down in the list, or deleted.
-
Select Save to finish.
