3732546 - Post Good Issue cannot be completed in EWM due to 'Some material is still located on resource' error - S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Unable to perform PGI (goods issue) for an outbound delivery in EWM.
• Error message displayed: "Some material is still located on resource".
• PGI process is blocked and cannot be completed.

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Start PGI (Post Goods Issue) for the outbound delivery in EWM.
2. Observe that the system raises the error "Some material is still located on resource" and prevents completion.

Warehouse Tasks (WTs) for picking were partially canceled: the stock was moved onto a resource, but the follow-up WT that should move stock from the resource to the destination bin was canceled. This left stock on the resource, which blocks PGI.

1. Avoid canceling WTs that move stock from the resource to the final bin once stock has been moved onto a resource.
2. If such a WT was canceled, identify the available stock that remains on the resource.
3. In Warehouse Monitor, use the Available Stock tab to create internal-movement WTs for the remaining stock on the resource.
4. Move the stock from the resource to an appropriate destination bin (for example, a GI area or CL area).
5. After stock is cleared from the resource, retry PGI for the delivery.
