Symptom

  • In SAP XS Advanced, the syntax "PARTITION BY KEEPING EXISTING LAYOUT" in .hdbcds files preserves partition syntax added to tables.
  • Equivalent partition syntax is required for .hdbtable in SAP HANA Cloud for all generated tables.
