3732823 - Additional Data Collection does not load for onboardee – Onboarding

Symptom

  • Onboardee unable to start Additional Data Collection step, page does not load. 
  • Error in the backend logs: "There is no Configuration UI with name cust_objectname. The Configuration UI defined as the default screen for the object does not exist. Please modify or remove the default screen from the object definition."
  • Cust_objectname is an example of an object name.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Onbordee log in to the portal.
  2. Open the Additional Data Collection task.
  3. Observe that a blank screen appears.
  4. Onbordee unable to start the task.

Cause

The object ConfigUIMeta has been set to secured = Yes. 

Resolution

  1. Admin Center > Configure Object Definitions.
  2. Open the ConfigUIMeta object.
    There are two options: 
  3. Set Secured to No > Save the changes.
    OR
  4. Keep Secured = Yes.
  5. Ensure the external onboarding user role is granted the required permissions to view the ConfigUIMeta object.
