3733086 - Out-of-state wages are incorrectly credited for unemployment insurance purposes in US Payroll

Symptom

Organizations using US Payroll might experience issues where wages earned in other states are wrongly credited for unemployment insurance purposes due to default settings.
This can lead to non-compliance with specific state regulations that require selective deactivation of such crediting.

This behavior may also happen for the tax types 7, 8, 13, [...], 18, 36, and 39 that are processed in a manner similar to 'tax type 10' for employees who have relocated.
