3733107 - Display and ordering issues with groups in Manage Configuration UI for Latest People Profile

Symptom

  • Inconsistencies in the display and ordering on the latest people profile for the objects that have conditional association set up for custom fields.
  • After configuring groups and fields in the manage configuration UI, the actual display in the latest people profile changes the order of group appearance.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • Metadata Framework

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Configuration UI
  2. Select Base Object (e.g. OBJ1)
  3. Put Parent object's field (P field) outside its default group, into a custom group (P group) (same level as Child default Group (e.g. OBJ1 (child))
  4. Save the UI



  5. Add the custom card for this object on the people profile.
  6. Then, go to Latest People Profile
  7. View the custom card (e.g. OBJ1)
  8. The first configured group (P group) does not appear in the first position and other group (OBJ1 (child)) has an incorrect display name and is displayed in wrong order.


Resolution

This is an expected behaviour when conditional associations are set up for custom fields in the Latest People Profile.
