3733168 - Repository Connection Fails with "Invalid repository user or password (The LDAP Server is unavailable)" error - SAP PD

Symptom

  • LDAP user fails to connect to the repository from the client, a.k.a. PD Desktop.

  • Error is returned:
       Invalid repository user or password (The LDAP Server is unavailable).

  • The certificate was imported into the Java cacerts keystore on the client using keytool.

  • Local PowerDesigner users can connect to the repository.
