Symptom

E-Verify tasks are getting assigned to People Leader even when they are not part of Responsible Group.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the onboarding candidate record that has an active E-Verify process.
  2. Review the E-Verify task assignee list.
  3. Observe that the people leader appears as an assignee even though this user is not included in the configured responsible group.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

Product Engineering is investigating a solution.
