App 'Create Preliminary Cost Estimate - Product Cost Collectors' not found even though the Business Role SAP_BR_PRODN_ACCOUNTANT is assigned to the user.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Fiori launchpad and search for the app "Create Preliminary Cost Estimate - Product Cost Collectors".
2. Observe that no results are returned in the app search.
3. Verify that the business role "SAP_BR_PRODN_ACCOUNTANT" is assigned to the user.

The app belongs to non-event-based product costing (BEI) and is not supported with the 3F0 Event-Based Production Accounting scope. The business catalog SAP_FIN_BC_PRD_PRECOST_PC contains the classic MF30-based app, which is being deprecated.

1. Confirm whether scope item 3F0 (Event-Based Production Accounting) is in use.
2. If 3F0 is active, note that the app "Create Preliminary Cost Estimate - Product Cost Collector (MF30)" is not supported.
3. Use the event-based production accounting processes and corresponding apps instead of the legacy product cost collector preliminary cost estimate.
