3734501 - Supplier FAQ: Removal of the client authentication EKU from public TLS certificates

Symptom

The Google Chrome Root Program requires that Certificate Authorities (CA's) to stop including the Client Authentication Extended Key Usage (EKU) in all public TLS certificates.

To align with this new requirement, all the commonly used Certificate Authorities have started to phase out the inclusion of the Client Authentication EKU in their public TLS certificates.

As a supplier I have questions on how will this impact and what changes I may need to perform from my side to guarantee my integration with SAP Business Network won't be impacted.
