3734671 - How to remove the address section while adding a new dependent in the Latest People Profile editing UI?

Symptom

When adding a new dependent in the Latest People Profile editing UI, the address section is mandatory. However, the requirement is to add dependents without including address details.

Reproducing the Issue

1.Go to the Employee Profile.

2.Navigate to the Dependents section under Personal Information.

3.Click on the Add button to add a new dependent.

4.In the Address section, observe that the address fields are mandatory.


Resolution

1.Go to Manage Business Configuration in Admin Center.

2.Click on the Home Address section in BCUI.

3.Under the option “Disabled under Dependents section”, set the value to Yes.

4.Save the changes.

5.Test by adding a new dependent to confirm that the Address section is no longer appear.
