3735202 - Filter Line widget shows unstable default hierarchy but built-in filter and data analyzer unaffected - SAP Analytics Cloud

• It is unstable to show the default hierarchy in the Filter Line widget.
• No issue for the story filter or Data Analyzer.
• No error messages are displayed.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2026.2.10

• BW live data connection

1. Open a story based on BW live connection.
2. In the Filter Line widget, select “filter +” and choose a dimension to check the selection dialog shows Flat Presentation.
3. Select the same dimension again from the Filter Line widget, an unexpected, non-default hierarchy is shown instead of the Flat Presentation.

The issue is currently under investigation by the development.

2. Workaround: Use the built-in filter line or Data Analyzer to apply hierarchy-based filters, as these maintain the expected default hierarchy.
