3735854 - Error "No available SAP Live Data Connection - Please contact your administrator" is shown when user tries to create/run Story Reports.

Symptom

When trying to create a Story Report, the error No available SAP Live Data Connection is shown before the user is asked to select the Dataset (Standard Reporting or LMS).

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite



Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Report Center.
  2. Attempt to create a new Story Report.
  3. The error "No available SAP Live Data Connection" is shown.

Resolution

  1. Go to Provisioning.
  2. Search for "Configurations for Stories.
  3. Run the Refresh SF Live Connection.

Currently, this job is available only on provisioning.
If you do not have a partner with access to Provisioning, please open a case with SAP Support.
