3736061 - Tax Jurisdiction Code was not updated in CIM during Master Data Replication - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

In the SAP Ariba Central Invoice Management (CIM) system, the tax Jurisdiction code is not updated as the values defined in SSCUI 105651 - Edit Addresses for Company Codes.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Change the default Tax Jurisdiction code in SSCUI 105651 Edit Addresses for Company Codes.
  2. Replicate the company code master data to CIM.
  3. Observe that CIM still shows the previous Tax Jurisdiction code instead of the updated one.

Cause

Tax Jurisdiction code is determined by the company code master data, not by the address information.

Resolution

  1. Open SSCUI 102602 “Assign Tax Codes for Non-Taxable Transactions”.
  2. Update the Tax Jurisdiction code for the relevant company code(s).
  3. Save the change.
  4. Verify in CIM that the updated Tax Jurisdiction code is now reflected.
  5. Thoroughly test the change in a non-production environment before applying it in production.
