Symptom

  • Multiple email notifications are triggered for Employees when several requests are created within a single day.
  • This article explains how the Consolidate Email Notification works in the EC Workflow

Resolution

  • Currently, this feature is NOT supported for workflow email notifications, as confirmed by the Engineering teams for both Platform and Workflow Management.

  • More details on this feature are expected in the upcoming 1H 2026 release, and the information will also be updated in the handbook guide Understanding Consolidated Email Notifications

The following email notification types are the only ones which support consolidated notifications. For each of these types, you can individually enable or disable consolidation and set a custom consolidation interval per form template:

  • Document Creation Notification
  • Document Routing Notification
  • Document Reject Notification
  • Document Completed Notification
  • Document Forward Notification
  • Document Deletion Notification
  • 360 Document Approval Notification
  • 360 Document Evaluation Notification
  • 360 Document Complete Notification
