3736679 - Changing cost element via EXIT_SAPLKASC_003 in cumulated overhead calculation leads to reversal of previous surcharge postings

Symptom

In a cumulated overhead calculation, a cost element substitution is implemented using enhancement EXIT_SAPLKASC_003.

When the cost element is changed during a later period, the system does not split the posting as expected between:

  • the current-period overhead amount on the original cost element, and
  • the retroactive revaluation amount on a different cost element.

Instead, the system reverses the previously posted surcharge records with the old cost element and posts the newly calculated cumulative amount with the new cost element.
