Symptom

Dependent history removed after personal data collection is completed for rehire with new employment.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Start onboarding manually.
  2. Proxy to the responsible user
  3. Do the review new hire data step
  4. Enter same personal data to trigger rehire verification
  5. Do the rehire check
  6. Choose Rehire with new Employment
  7. Do the review new hire data again
  8. Do the Personal Data Collection step on behalf of the onboardee
  9. Notice that dependents section is removed

Cause

Known issue.

Resolution

This is a known error. The issue is occurring as the records entered during personal data collection after rehire are replacing the existing dependents records with the effective start date as the future RONE start date.
