3736875 - Purchase Order Item Interval Not Editable

Symptom

The Item Interval in the Purchase Order Document Type definition is not editable.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open SSCUI 102909 - Define Document Types for Purchase Orders.
  2. Select the existing PO document type.
  3. Check the field ItmInt (item Interval) and observe it is greyed out and cannot be edited.
  4. The behavior is the same if copying the Document Type.

Cause

System behavior.

Resolution

The change is not supported and is not allowed, even via Expert Configuration requests. After saving the initial configuration of a PO document type, the Item Interval becomes fixed and is no longer editable in SSCUI 102909.
