Symptom
When a Supplier Delivery Notification is created for a Purchase Order, it is automatically set to “Received” status but the inbound delivery is not created.
Environment
SAP Business Bydesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Inbound Logistics work center
- Go to Purchase Order view
- Select the relevant Purchase Order.
- Choose New supplier delivery Notification.
- Enter Delivery Notification ID
- Choose Save.
- Go to the document flow
- Observe the Inbound delivery Notification is Received status and Inbound delivery is not created
Cause
When the Inbound Delivery Notification is created, it is directly set to “Received” status and the Released status is 'Not Released'.
Resolution
Instead of performing 'Save' action, choose 'Save and Create Warehouse Request' in Inbound delivery Notification to create inbound delivery along with it.
