3737109 - DB6: SWPM Refresh database fails due to non existence account

Symptom

  • During SWPM import with Database Refresh Content, the process stops with following error: 

    ERROR      2026-02-28 09:00:05.850 (root/sapinst) (startInstallation) [CSiStepExecute.cpp:1105] id=controller.stepExecuted 
    errno=FCO-00011 CSiStepExecute::execute()
    The step checkAccounts with step key |NW_DBRefreshOnly|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Users_Create_Do|ind|ind|ind|ind|UsersCreateDo|0|checkAccounts 
    was executed with status ERROR (Last error reported by the step: <html> <head></head> <body> The account <i>db2users_<sid></i> does not exist. <br> SOLUTION: Create the account manually according to the installation guide. </body></html>).

  • sapinst_dev.log shows the OS group db2users_<sid> does not exist.
