3737375 - Quotation heuristic SAP_PP_Q001 fails with supersession chains (interchangeability)

Symptom

  • When planning with product interchangeability (supersession chains), running the quota allocation product heuristic SAP_PP_Q001 (/SAPAPO/HEU_PLAN_QUOTA) for a successor material within the dispatcher SAP_PP_I001 causes planning to stop.
  • Error messages observed:
    • “Product … was not planned due to product interchangeability” Message No. /SAPAPO/RRP_HEUR703
    • “Heuristic 'SAP_PP_I001' canceled” Message No. /SAPAPO/RRP_HEUR045
    • “Planning for package … canceled” Message No. /SAPAPO/RRP_HEUR048
