Symptom

  • Creating an OData connection in SAP Analytics Cloud to Datasphere fails during connection setup.
  • Error message: “Connection to service failed: OData Services”.
  • HAR/network logs shows the error message: "ERROR_CONNECT_TO_SERVER\",\"rawError\":\"An error occured while connecting to the data source: An error occurred while fetching metadata: Response from external server has status code of 406."
